The White House Hotel is the only hotel on Herm Island. The island is leased to Adrian and Pennie Heyworth who run the hotel with the General Manager. It enjoys a beautiful location beside the harbour, with spectacular sea views, particularly from the front bedrooms with balcony. Comfortable lounges equipped with sofas, and board games for the children, provide a relaxing setting for an aperitif and after-dinner coffee. Forty well-appointed bedrooms offer bathroom en-suite, radio, beverage-making facilities, and baby listening, but no televisions - a deliberate policy of the hotel!

The award-winning Conservatory Restaurant is renowned for its delicious food, reasonably priced wine list, and beautiful views across the gardens and sea towards the island of Guernsey. A four-course dinner with coffee is included each evening, often featuring fresh seafood, and service is friendly and efficient. Children are extremely welcome with good facilities for families.

The flower-filled gardens provide a solar-heated swimming pool, croquet lawn and a tennis court, while pleasant lawns offer plenty of space for relaxing in the warm summer months. Belvoir beach is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel, where a private grassy area overlooking the beach is available for hotel guests. Yacht, motor boat and fishing charters can be arranged by the hotel, and regular boat services operate to the islands of Sark and Guernsey for day excursions. The White House Hotel is an ideal choice for a family holiday and many guests return year on year, perhaps the finest accolade for any hotel.
