Calcot Manor, a charming country house hotel situated deep in the Cotswold Hills, is steeped in history and surrounded by stunning countryside. Thirty-five individually designed bedrooms and suites are located in the main house, converted stables and barns overlooking the flower-filled courtyard. The 14th century Tithe barn, is thought to have been built as an Abbey, for the Cistercian monks who farmed the surrounding land in 1311. Some rooms offer a six-foot bed or whirlpool bath, and all are stocked with delightful extras from shortbread and fruit to luxury toiletries.

Family suites provide a separate sitting room with bunkbeds for children, DVD players with a wide selection available to borrow at reception and small fridges ideal for snacks and drinks. Kids will have a great time in the fantastic Playzone. Stocked with brilliant toys and games for all ages, supplied by top manufacturer Hasbro, the OFSTED registered crèche facility is open 7 days a week from 9am – 12.30pm and then again from 1.30pm to 5.30pm and is supervised by qualified staff. For the over 8’s, the Mez has X boxes, playstations and a 12 seater cinema playing the latest DVDs.

Award-winning cuisine featuring fresh local produce, enhanced by the lovely views of the surrounding countryside, makes dining at Calcot's Conservatory Restaurant a special occasion. Alternatively, the Gumstool Inn offers a relaxed pub atmosphere for pre-dinner drinks and more rustic dishes.

The luxurious Calcot Spa features a 16-metre indoor pool, sauna, steam room, courtyard hot tub, fitness room, exercise studio, seven beauty treatment rooms and a relaxation lounge.

Westonbirt Arboretum, famous for its autumn scenery, is just down the road, while the attractions of Longleat Safari Park, Cotswold Wildlife Park and the picturesque village of Castle Combe are within easy driving distance. Tariff and Special Breaks
Calcot Manor offers a choice of 35 individual rooms and suites starting from £275.00 per room, per night inclusive of Bed, Full English Breakfast, early morning tea/coffee, a daily newspaper VAT and service, (based on two guests sharing). It also includes use of the Spa facilities with treatments charged as taken.

Dinner inclusive packages are also available, along with NEW MIDWEEK PACKAGES. FAMILIES ARE WELCOME AT CALCOT
Our Family Rooms and Suites are located in a pretty converted barn that forms a small courtyard immediately in front of the main house. Some have bunk beds and the others have sofa beds. There is plenty of space for additional folding beds and cots (provided) if required. Most rooms can comfortably accommodate 2 children and a cot. Children’s supplements are per child per night and include breakfast, High Tea from the children’s menu, use of The Playzone and Calcot Spa during the stated times. 0 - 12 years: £30.00, 13 years and over: £35.00.

CALCOT SPA Calcot Spa has been designed to be a luxurious and relaxing retreat for adults and therefore access to children is limited to the following times: Mon-Sun: 3.45-5.15pm, Sat-Sun: 8.45-10.15am Please note: outside of these times children are not permitted in The Spa.

HIGH TEA Children’s High Tea is served in The Gumstool Inn from 5.30pm until 6.30pm. The Conservatory Restaurant is exclusively for our adult guests but you are welcome to eat as a family in the Gumstool Inn between 5.30pm and 9.30pm (9pm on Sundays). Advanced bookings are recommended for The Gumstool as it does get fully booked - particularly at weekends.

THE PLAYZONE The Playzone has moved to the converted Tythe barn in the courtyard of the hotel. It caters for children from newborn to 16 years old and is fully registered with Ofsted. The crèche downstairs is staffed by qualified nannies and is packed with age-appropriate toys and games, supplied by top toy manufacturer Hasbro. The mezzanine level (The Mez) is an unsupervised area for children of 8 years and older. It incorporates a cinema and a studio equipped with playstations, X-boxes and computers. The Playzone and Mez offer childcare from 9am until 5.30pm every day. You may leave your children with the qualified nannies at any time during these hours subject to staff:children ratios. If you would like the nannies to look after your children at a particular time, for example while you are having Spa Treatments, we recommend advance booking.
